I am intertextual. I have no originality; therefore, please do not look for anything original. We all define each other with words and rewrite. I am just a rewriting of the people and things I have known and experienced so far. I am interwoven with the air I have breathed, the soil I have set food on, the sun I have soaked up, the moon that lightened my nights, the stars that guided me, the water I have drunk, the sea salt infused in my skin, the emotions I have tried to figure out, the love I have felt, the goodness I have given by my loved ones, the chances I have taken, the disappointments I have had, the victories I have gained, the crowd I have walked in, the things people have told me, the things I have told myself and the others… For me, everything and everyone is a text waiting to be reread and rewritten. Life is all about creating; and, beyond any doubt when I create something, it creates me.
